ART CLUB - RELIEF WORK

Hi everyone,

This is our CCA Art Club. Our Greendale teacher in-charge is Mdm Nasheda Hamzah. Our Art Instructor is Mr Goh. He is a retired Secondary School Art teacher.

Here are some photographs taken during our Art Club lessons.

We are making some relief artwork using wood, scrap materials and spray paint.

Our first lesson, Mr Goh showed and explained to us what we will be doing for the next few weeks.

First Lesson:

After that, it was time for us to get to work.

Mr Goh gave use some sticks, wooden blocks and some glue.

We use the glue to stick them on top of the square wooden board.

Mr Goh helped some of us to mount the thicker and harder wood onto out square board using a stapler gun.

The sound of the stapler gun was very loud! It scared some of the students at first. It was very funny!

This is Ili. She has completed her artwork. Look how proud she is!!

Finally, at the end of the first lesson, we have managed to complete stage one of the relief artwork.

Second Lesson:

It was time to add colour to the artwork.
Mr Goh taught us how to use the spray paint.

We were given a paper mask each. This was to protect us from inhaling the spray paint.

Mr Goh brought his assistant to help us with the spray paint that day.

We were all very excited. It was alot of fun. We enjoyed our Art lesson very much.

After adding colour to our relief work, it was time to let it dry in the sun.
